About the color

Color stations along the course toss colored powder as you pass. Wear something you don't mind staining, and see the waiver for the color powder precautions.

The shirt

The event shirt is a Tri County TeamMates tee designed by Tri County art students, in white, light blue, or grey — choose your color when you add one to your entry. Shirts will be sent home with students the Friday before, or handed out race morning during check-in.

Register before September 20 to have your shirt for race day.

I understand that participating in the TeamMates Color Run/5K involves physical activity and certain known and unknown risks. These risks may include, but are not limited to, falls, collisions, uneven surfaces, weather conditions, overexertion, dehydration, illness, bodily injury, contact with other participants, and exposure to color powder or chalk. I voluntarily choose to participate and acknowledge that I am running, walking, volunteering, or otherwise participating entirely at my own risk. I accept full responsibility for determining whether I am physically able to participate safely. COLOR POWDER ACKNOWLEDGMENT I understand that color powder or chalk will be used during this event. The powder may cause temporary staining or irritation to the skin, eyes, nose, throat, lungs, or clothing. Individuals with asthma, respiratory conditions, allergies, skin sensitivities, or other health concerns should take appropriate precautions or avoid the color stations. If the color powder becomes an irritant or causes an allergic or adverse reaction, I accept responsibility for seeking and paying for any medical care I may need. This release includes claims involving personal injury, illness, allergic or respiratory reactions, property damage, accident, disability, or death, including claims resulting from the ordinary negligence of any Released Party. This release does not apply to conduct that cannot legally be released under Nebraska law. MEDICAL CARE If I become injured or ill during the event, I authorize event personnel to contact emergency medical services when reasonably necessary. I understand that the Released Parties do not guarantee that medical personnel will be present or immediately available. I accept responsibility for all medical, transportation, and related expenses resulting from my participation. ACKNOWLEDGMENT AND SIGNATURE I have carefully read this waiver and understand its contents. I understand that by signing it, I am giving up certain legal rights. I am signing voluntarily and agree to follow all event rules and safety instructions.
